Sustainability in My Work as a Producer and Agent.
As a Producer at Style Department, I approach every project—whether on location, in the studio, or from home—with sustainability at the forefront. My commitment to ethical and eco-conscious practices ensures that the work we create doesn’t come at the expense of our planet. Here’s how I embed sustainability into my process:
Offsetting My Carbon Footprint
I take responsibility for the environmental impact of my work by offsetting carbon emissions wherever possible, ensuring my projects contribute to a greener future.
Energy-Efficient Shoots
From the studio to on-location shoots, I prioritise energy efficiency. By using equipment designed for minimal energy use and being mindful of unnecessary consumption, I keep our carbon impact low without compromising creativity.
Travelling Responsibly
Travel is sometimes unavoidable in this line of work, but I strive to make it as green as possible. Whenever feasible, I use public transport or electric/eco-friendly vehicles to get to shoots and meetings.
Reducing Waste
Reducing waste is a key part of my production ethos. Any safe, leftover food from shoots gets donated to local food banks, with Asda Clapham Junction being a regular beneficiary. It’s my way of minimising waste while supporting the community.
Choosing Recycled and Sustainable Materials
From props to packaging and studio supplies, I choose recycled or sustainably sourced materials whenever possible. These choices ensure that the visuals we create don’t contribute to the depletion of resources.
My Values
For me, producing isn’t just about creating stunning images—it’s about doing so ethically, supporting communities, and leaving the smallest footprint I can. Every project reflects these values, ensuring that when you work with me, you’re part of a process that cares for both people and the planet.
Sustainability isn’t just a goal—it’s the heart of how I work and what I stand for. Together, we can create meaningful, impactful work that aligns with a shared commitment to a better future.
